Mrs Smith, had been waiting for this move from Tillingham in Essex, for some time. It was not an easy move as Mrs Smith was leaving her family home where she had raised her 2 children. To add to problems her new home was not ready so she needed to store her possessions and stay in temporary accommodation. To make her life easier Mrs Smith decided TFM should do all of the packing for her and take the essential items she needed to her temporary address in Burnham on Crouch.

The Removal was scheduled to take place on Friday 24th June 2016. The team for the day to carry out packing and loading of the goods to the storage container was Adam, Jamie, Harry and Stats. Here at TFM we send all our staff for training on packing and ensure the entire team are fully aware of the latest materials, techniques and procedures. On her Satisfaction form Mrs Smith said ‘The boys made a very difficult day much easier’

The bulk of the furniture was loaded into one of our storage containers, additionally we supplied a Transit Luton to move the balance of the goods to Mrs Smith’s temporary home, a mobile home in Burnham-on-Crouch. The storage container was loaded, locked and sealed in Tillingham. The container was then taken to TFM’s storage facility in Burnham-on-Crouch.

The Transit Luton was loaded with all the remaining items to go to Mrs Smith’s temporary home, taken there and unloaded.

There were a number of items which were not to be moved or stored and were to remain at the house and this was noted by the estimator on the instructions. These instructions are always followed carefully by the removal team to ensure the removal is exactly as the customer wishes.
All the dismantling and reassembly was done by the customer.

Finally in August, nearly 2 months after the goods had been loaded into store, the big day came and Mrs Smith was able to move into her new property. The storage container was delivered, the seals broken in front of the customer so Mrs Smith knew that everything loaded into the container would still be inside, and the contents were then unloaded at the new address by Josh, Stats and Nick. Mrs Smith said ‘Very efficient as always, placed everything where I needed it’ a happy ending for the Smith family in their new home.

TFM are very proud of their storage system and if you think you might need to store your goods make sure you watch our storage video on the website.
