Mr and Mrs Smith moved from Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex, to Ledbury in, the beautiful county of Herefordshire. The estimate for the removal was carried out on Wednesday 25th May, by Ralph, for either a direct removal to their new address, or, in the event that they hadn’t found a new property, the cost of removal into our storage facility, a daily storage charge and then later re-delivery to their new home. The estimate also included TFM’s packing and dismantling service, meaning the customer would be expected to do nothing prior to the removal. We are proud of the fact that at TFM all our staff have professional training in packing with the latest materials and techniques.

Fortunately for Mr and Mrs Smith they found their new home in Ledbury and completed on its purchase on the same day as the sale of their Burnham-on-Crouch property meaning it was therefore a direct removal with no need to go into storage.

Completion date was Tuesday 13th September. The removal was packed on Monday 12th September by Adam and Jamie and loaded on the Tuesday morning by Adam and Harry who then did the 6 hour drive (including their 45 minute tachograph break) to Ledbury. They then had a night out in Ledbury in the sleeper cab of the lorry and delivered to the customer’s new house on the Wednesday morning.

On the day of completion after the lorry was loaded and the house was empty the couple travelled to Ledbury by train. This for them was an exciting day after a long awaited move to join their son in Herefordshire.

At TFM this was one of many removals we do each week to all over the UK, locally in Essex, to Europe and all over the world. We were happy the move went just as it was planned and especially happy that the customers were pleased and commented on the satisfaction sheet they completed that they were ‘Very happy with the whole proceedings from start to finish’

This is a brief story of a recent removal carried out by TFM Removals. The customer’s name has been changed and has been blanked out on the satisfaction form they completed after the removal.
